The Netherlands inbound and outbound teams attended the District 6970 conference this weekend in Daytona Beach. It was very exciting to meet the inbound team! Their English is fantastic, they are very knowledgeable, they are very witty and funny, and they are extremely nice! Sarah and I are very interested in how stylish they are! We loved their matching outfits-black dressy/professional outfit with lime yellow scarfs (AWESOME!) and nice white 3/4 length sleeve jackets. I WILL be getting a scarf while I'm there! The reception and dinner were fun with superb food. Each team gave their presentations in the morning and the Netherlands team was fantastic with great English and fun facts like: the donut was invented in Netherlands and while they are very popular in the US, the Dutch don't eat them, don't say "Go Dutch" when you go out to dinner there because this is not something they say and they don't know where the term came from, etc. They gave interesting facts like 4 Netherlands fit in the size of Florida, Netherlands is the tallest country, and other interesting facts. Good job! Thank you District 6970 for this great experience!
